What is the Dance/Admin Fee

The Dance/Admin Fee is a separate fee that helps C4aB continue organizing these blues cruises.
Some of the costs cover:

  • Live Entertainment
  • Afternoon Private Space
  • Evening Private Dance spaces
  • On Board Activities
  • Marketing
Please explain Gratuity Charges

Gratuities are a separate charge from your cabin cost and dance/admin fee.

What are Service Gratuities?

It is customary for our guests to extend gratuities to the shipboard staff in appreciation for their hard work and exceptional service. 100% of your gratuities are distributed to the crew who you interact with, such as your stateroom attendants, dining and culinary services staff, as well as other members of the onboard team who work behind the scenes to enhance your overall cruise experience. Applying this charge automatically streamlines the recognition process and ensures our crew will share in your generosity.

To help you plan, we have provided the recommended onboard gratuities guidelines.

  • Standard Staterooms: $16.00 USD per person, per day
  • Suite Staterooms: $18.00 USD per person, per day

You may pay this daily gratuity in two different ways:

Pre-Pay

Gratuities can be added at the time of booking or anytime up to the sail date. Guests who booked directly with Carnival may add their pre-paid gratuities on Carnival.com. If a guest booked with a travel agent, they may contact their travel professional to add pre-paid gratuities to their booking. Prepaid gratuities are reflected in the 'Miscellaneous Charge' field on the confirmation and in the guest's E-Documents.

Sail & Sign®

If guests have not pre-paid their gratuities, the recommended, per person, amount will be posted to their Sail & Sign account on the second to last day of the cruise. Should a guest not be satisfied with the service they receive, they can contact the Guest Services desk while on board. This will allow us to address their concerns in a timely and appropriate fashion. At the discretion of the guest, gratuities may be adjusted after they have been posted on the guest's account, while on board. Gratuities, as posted on a guest's Sail & Sign account, will be considered final after a guest disembarks and no changes will be made after the cruise.

Additional Information

  • Gratuities are assessed on all guests, with the exception of children under the age of 2.
  • Gratuities apply regardless of the dining options selected, such as eating at the casual dining restaurant or open seating dining.
  • For beverage purchases, an 18% service charge will be added to the bill.
  • An 18% service charge will be added to the reservation fee the Chef’s Table and Bonsai Teppanyaki as well as the nominal à la carte fee at Bonsai Sushi, Emeril’s Bistro, Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse and Seafood Shack; additional gratuities can be added at the guest's discretion.
  • A gratuity may be extended to room service staff as service is rendered.

Thank you for your generous recognition of our onboard team. Our crew works hard to provide you with a great vacation and takes pride in being part of the best team in the cruise industry.

Will there be pre and post Alaska activities planned?

Since many of our dancers live in Seattle we may have some activities planned pre and post.

We are looking into hotels near the port for the pre-cruise and downtown Seattle for post cruise. Although it may be more cost effective to see if anyone is willing to host or look into Airbnbs.

There is a group planning on staying in Seattle through the July 4th holiday.

More info to come...
Keep an eye on FB Page chats and Discord

We will use Discord during the trip as it's easier to reach everyone at one time.
It was really helpful during our New Orleans trip!!

What time does the boat leave the port of Seattle?

The boat leaves at 3:30pm PST on Thursday, June 25.

Usually you can board as early as 11:30a-12:00p.

How do I get my Boarding Pass?

Carnival will be mailing you your registration information. You will use this to check in online before the cruise.

Carnival Boarding Pass Process

Are passports required?

With many travel requirement changes happening all over, it is best to check on the Carnival website for the most up to date information regarding our specific cruise.

Carnival Travel Documentation

Special Dietary Needs

Please read Carnival Food Offerings and how you can set up your dining menu if you have special dietary needs.

Please note that you will need to stay in the same seat assigned to you at dinner so your special meal will be delivered correctly. We usually encourage all after the first night to sit anywhere within our group seating so we all get to know each other.

Traveling with Minors

Anyone under 21 must travel with a guardian 25 years or older.

See Carnival Minor Policy

How are cabin mates assigned if I'm traveling alone? Can I travel single?

Yes you can travel single but will have to pay double occupancy minus the extra port fees and taxes.

If you have not found a roomie for the cruise, please use our FB Group Page to reach out to people there. You can also use our Discord Page as well. We will do our best to introduce you to other dancers.

If we are a couple can we get 1 bed in our cabin?

Yes! The 2 single beds in the cabins are on wheels and can be pushed together.

What to Wear??

During our Alaska cruise the temps will vary as we are heading into summer but...glaciers!
And there are hot tubs, pools and waterslides!

We will also may be dancing outdoors in the evening and it can get chilly and windy at times.
Layers, layers, layers!!

We will be emailing you on suggestions for packing closer to sail time.

Carnival What to pack and wear.

What dance shoes should I pack?

Pack for various floor surfaces.

They could be sticky, slippery, up on deck or on carpet. We follow the music!

More importantly, how much alcohol can I bring?

Carnival Alcohol Policy

(How you creatively pack these particular items is up to you...)

Luggage Restrictions

Carnival Luggage Policy

How will I live without WIFI?!

Never fear, for a price, you can purchase wifi or just wait til we get into port to use your cell reception...

Wifi Packages

Can I use my cell phone on the boat?

Carnival Mobile Phone Network

How do I stay in touch with other dancers onboard?

Carnival has a mobile app (Carnival Hub App) that for $5 we can use it to text each other. Once onboard we can use it to create a group thread to stay in touch as to where we're dancing, hanging out, playing board games, etc. We suggest you download when you still have wifi. You'll be able to log in once you're on the boat.

We also plan on having scheduled indoor time on the boat most afternoons. You can always stick your head in to see who's hanging there. There will also be door signs you can write on and a list of cabin numbers so you can use the cruise phones to call specific cabins.

Can I purchase a ticket online through Carnival instead of C4aB Travel Agent?

If you purchase your ticket through the Carnival website we cannot guarantee you can be placed with our group for dining or other group amenities that may be offered to us.

The Dance/Admin fee would still be applicable to your joining our group.
